I have not seen Claude for quite a while. Indeed I think that he did not participate in our last reunion in 2015, though I may be in error… I tried to reach him last summer to encourage a participation in Giulio’s “Class History – 50 Years” tabulation but without success.
My memories include the fact that he already had a degree in engineering from the College Militaire Royale when he joined us at McGill. And at times, during our late nighters, he would arrive in full dress Mess-kit to carry on with his own deadline.
We had a bit of contact during my working years — he was on the jury for the Montreal Palais de Conference competition (or was it the Quebec Palais de Justice) — which we did not win! And he did participate in several of our reunions from 1995 on.
And so, our numbers have reduced.
